Dear Friend After a Loss
In a moment you will see a painting that became a point of stillness for me. When I first looked at it, I immediately felt the familiar taste of grief after losing a loved one.
It is an experience that cannot be captured in simple words. Sometimes it leaves us motionless, sometimes it stirs rebellion, and sometimes it presses us down to the ground.
I know how hard it is to go through these moments. How deeply the heart can ache, and how easy it is to feel alone in one’s sorrow. I want to tell you that this time, though incredibly difficult, is a path you can walk—step by step, at your own pace. You have the right to all your feelings: to tears, to silence, to anger. They are all part of grief.
Although it may seem impossible today, I know that with time more breath will return to you, and memories will begin to carry not only pain, but also a quiet light.
I am here— with a heart that knows this weight.
With tenderness,
Wiesia
